My name is Christopher Tordoff and I’m an accountant of 34 years, having started my accountancy journey at 16 years old.

During this time I’ve worked for Wilkinson and Partners (7 years), Rawlinsons (5 years), HWC (2 years), Phil Dodgson and Partners (14 years) and Brosnans (4 years).

 

During my career I progressed from Trainee in 1988 to Practice Manager in 2016. I’m not your typical accountant that talks in a different language and leaves you more confused than when you started. I’m a down-to-earth Yorkshire lad and explain everything in a way the normal layperson can understand. I’ve picked up good traits from each of my employers which I carried into starting my own business in 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then Tordoff and Co Accountants has gone from zero to over 1000 clients, all of whom are still with us.

 

I like to help new or struggling businesses to make the right decisions to enable them to have the best opportunity to prosper. I can never guarantee success to a client, but I can arm them with the right information to have the best chance of success.
